Cuddle Quilts

Volunteers cut, fringe and surge close to 5000 cuddle quilts every year. This is a year long project to be ready for the Christmas season. Huge bolts of fleece arrive at the Workshop shortly after Christmas.

 

Our volunteers work diligently to get the fleece cut so the next group of volunteers can get all the fleece fringed and surged. Cut fleece is approximately 50" X 60". These pieces of fleece can be clipped (fringed) and knotted, surged or made into quilts.

 

This is an excellent volunteer project for an individual, company or group of friends. All we ask is that you use extra love in preparing these quilts, because they go directly into our Christmas boxes for the children.
